Area of Interest: Financial Technology and Personal Finance

I am an Assistant Professor in Financial Technology at Mid Sweden University and a Digital Banking and Finance Project Manager at the Centre for Research on Economic Relations.

My background spans fifteen years of higher education and project leadership, with a focus on delivering research-informed work with practical relevance.

FinTech and AI with Real-World Impact

Financial technology can strengthen everyday financial decision-making by making it easier, safer, and more empowering. My work supports this progress through research, partnerships, and innovation that translate into practice.

My research bridges finance, information technology, and cognitive science, and has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Business Research. It has received research awards and competitive grants, and is supported by active academic service as a reviewer and Associate Editor for Financial Services Review. Additional leadership includes serving as Vice President International of the Academy of Financial Services and delivering keynote speeches on financial technology at international conferences.

A defining feature of my work is collaboration. I have partnered with leading financial institutions and experts across the Nordic countries, the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Collaboration is welcomed with entrepreneurs and researchers to translate strong ideas into practical solutions, validate them with relevant stakeholders, and support broader implementation.

Welcome to my website, a space where research, innovation, and a passion for financial technology come together. Here, I share my work, experience, and interests developed over the years, especially in the area of artificial intelligence and its applications in financial services. I am always open to inspiring conversations and valuable collaborations that drive innovation forward.
